Dress - Should it stay or should it go!

The one thing I hate about the Next sale is that they close the fitting rooms. No idea why!! I think its to make people buy everything and then when brought home if they arent sure on something, they just keep it instead of the hassle of bringing it back. I did well buying 2 pairs of trousers that fitted, phew, and then this dress. I wanted a dress that I could wear for work and its very comfy with pockets on either side

I think it would be lovely with a shirt under it or a cardi on too. Or even with a thin black belt on to bring in the waist a bit. The only thing is, Im smaller on top than I am on the bottom so Im not sure if it looks too big on top, as you can see below, its kinda a bit gapey under the arms...

What do you reckon?? Should I keep it, is it ok? Or should I return it?

Some bargains I bought today

Since its the weekend I decided to treat myself to a few bits and pieces. I was mainly looking for work clothes and white shorts for Spain. As you can tell I was a bit successful! :)

First up we hit the Next sale, which was quite crazy at 8am. As we left after 9am there was no queue and barely anyone in the shop... learned for the next one. Anyhoo, I got some plain black trousers which dont deserve a pic, cos nothing special about them, I got a work dress Im not too sure about so I'll do a seperate blog for that to see what you guys think...But I did get these gorgeous dark blue trousers. They look like denim but they arent. I have noticed them a while back in the shop but for €50 I thought no way! And today I got them for €24! YAY!

Next on the list was white shorts... which I finally found... two pair to be exact :)

H&M

Marks & Spencers

The first pair are from H&M for €9.95 and are quite short. The second pair come to just above my knee and are demin, not as light as the H&M ones. They are from Marks and Spencers and were on sale for €20. I have a small obsession at the mo for loose tops, and I saw this one in H&M for €9.95 and I had to get it

I love it teamed up with my Marks & Spencer shorts

Such a comfy outfit. The shorter shorts I love with my stripy top from H&M I got a last month, which is now on sale for €3!! Bargain!

Then walking past Accessorize I saw a necklace I saw a couple of months ago, on sale for €3!! Couldnt leave it behind, it was only €3!!!

Karen Millen shoes in TK Max

I swear I dont live in TK Max but walking through it today I saw these Karen Millen sandals and fell in love

For shoes they are v high for me personally since I have joint issues, but I managed to get them on and walk in them no problem. Plus they were comfy. They were €214 and now €79. I didnt get them but 8 hours later I'm still thinking of them .... what to do...

Steve Madden @ TK Max!!!

YES YOU READ IT RIGHT!! I was in town to get my camera fixed, and a quick thank you to the camera shop behind Brown Thomas in Dublin for doing it for free for me, and while Im on the south side I thought Id head up to TK Max and was shocked to see Steve Madden shoes there now!!

I saw these shoes and I fell in love. They were €110 reduced to €69. They had them in the colour above, black and dark green. I had to try them on and they were so soft and comfy on the inside but a little high for me :(  Still, loving TK Max!
