Private Jewellery Sale hosted by Elevate PR
Elevate PR are hosting a private jewellery sale (A Box of My Treasure) this Thursday between 4pm and 7pm at their offices. The jewellery is chic and whimsical and all pieces are handmade here in Ireland. I had to share this with you becase after looking on their website, I want to buy everything!!

Cheap as chips outfit!!
I was down in Limerick for my boyfriends dads 60th, and brought down lots of clothes to wear cos I hate only bringin the amount of outfits that are needed and then not wanting to wear half the things I have with me.. So anyhoo, this is an outfit I wore and just working out the price of what Im wearing it is for nothing, so I thought I would share it with all my bargain hunters out there!
The pink and red top is from H&M and costs €9.99
The necklace is from Forever 21 and costs just over €8
The white vest top is old from the GAP but I saw similar ones up in the Banbridge outlet for about £5
Jeans are old and from newlook and cost €12 at the time.. they have gone up to €15 now - still a bargain
The bracelet was on sale last summer in Warehouse for about €8
The one thing you cant see are my black boots from Aldo which were €100 so that would have brought the cost of the outfit up a lot, but without it you are takin about €45. Not bad, eh!

Banbridge Outlets
Myself and the other half, aka Will, went to Belfast on Monday for a spot of retail Therapy. On the way up we stopped off at Banbridge Outlets to see if they had any good bargains!
They have many different brands up there, such as Marks & Spencers, Nike, Oasis, Calvin Klein, Gap, Past Times, Billabong, Clarkes, Pavers, Fat Face, to name but a few.
Each shop was full of Sale signs - my favourite signs!!
Only 20 minutes outside of Newry, on the way to Belfast, its definitely worth a trip!

Bargains in town!
Today I was in town today with my Mam. We went into some shops that Id never go into myself, but my Mam also loving a bargain, I was happy to potter along with her, and I was glad I did!
We started off in Guineys on Talbot Street.... for those who dont know Guineys, its just full of sheets, towels and usually awful clothes. We would seldom look in but my Mam wanted a nosey so off we went.
On the 1st floor they do lady clothes, which are awful, but I did see a stand with Rimmel and Sally Hansen sets for €5! I quickly pulled out my phone and called the sis telling her about this bargain and asking if she wanted any, which of course was a silly question.. Here are some pics of what they had. I wasnt paying attention when taking the pics so they are a bit bad and the you cant see the colour of the lipsticks, but you will get the idea!
So after that we went across the street to Boyers... Again another shop that is more appropiate for the older lady :) But they had great bargains, such as this really cute duvet cover, really soft too, all sizes for €12! They had a really vibrant blue one for €12 too
I saw SO many gorgeous things in town on sale - so get yourself out there and bag a bargain!

After numerous trips to New York, one of my favourite shops HAS to be Old Navy. Its more every day type clothes, tshirts, jeans, tracky bottoms, dresses, all well made and really reasonable. The type of thing you can throw into the dryer without worrying.

Divine Womens Boutique Malahide - Sale
Divine is a Womens Boutique in Malahide Village in Dublin. It does gorgeous womens wear that you arent gonna see everyone else wearing - perfect for a wedding or christening. I have gotten a few dresses in there for weddings and the prices are very reasonable

Bargain of the weekend!
Goody Spin Pins
My sis just blogged about them... She saw them in Claires Accessories, said they were amazing and since she doesnt have long hair anymore for a bun, said I should get them so I did.. Im not great at doing stuff with my hair and can be quite lazy with it but these pins are amazing!!
Each one is supposedly like using 20 bobby pins and they take literally seconds to twist into your hair and leave it very secure. Very handy for people like me that just need something quick and easy. Especially when recently all my bobbins keep snapping!

Boyers Summer Sale!
Boyers in Dublin has a Summer Sale starting today! Boyers is more of an older persons shop but the odd time you can be lucky at little bargains you can find.
I walked through it briefly on my way to work this morning and they had really nice duvet covers on sale, all sizes we either €12, €15 or €20!
Thought that was a bargain! the €12 duvet sets had bright/strong blue colour, or another one, which was my fav and was also on display on a bed was a white background with roses.. really pretty!

Grrr @ Tk-Max
Yup, I was singing the praises of TK-Max the weekend and now Im annoyed with them! :)
I was up in the TK-Max in the pavillions yesterday to see if I could find the Nica bag I so desperately decided to get.. and I found it, but after rummaging around the handbag section for ages I came across this little beauty
It looks a lot nicer in real life than the pic. The leather is really soft and there is a zip at the back of the bag, full length across too for your bits and pieces. It was in the clearance section for €25 and I LOVED it!! But while playing with it I saw the back zip was completely split. It wouldnt close at all. I called my mam to see if its something she was able to fix and she said that if you open it completely as much as you could and then closed it and it still didnt close, it would have to be replaced. RAGING!
So I thought, hmmm, I wonder, since the item is faulty, would TK-Max give me a small discount off it, which I could use towards getting the zip fixed... and their answer?? NOPE! Once the item was reduced it cant be reduced any more!! I said, even though its broken and its something I would have to pay for to get fixed, and the answer was nope, nothing they could do!!

Grrr @ Accessorize
I LOVE accessories.. love earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, the works.. and Accesorize has some amazing stuff at the moment but over the years their pricing has been really bad and has stopped me shopping in there.
They used to display the English and the Irish price on the item, and the Irish price was always way above what it should have been, so they then started to use a black marker to cover the old Irish price and write an even higher price on the tag! SO annoying and so unfair.
So during the week I saw this cameo which I loved and at €7 I thought they had a really good price on it
So we went up to newry and went into Accessorize so I could show Karen it, even tho I didnt wana buy it because I have something very similar at home and they had it priced at £4... but what they also had was the Irish price and it was €5.90. I could only imagine what the mark up is in the republic for more expensive items in that shop, its sooo irritating and because of that I refuse point blank to spend my money in that shop. Kills me cos I do love their stuff but Id rather wait until Im up the north where its better value for money

Singing the praises of TK-Max
I was in town today with my sis and mam, having a wander around, not really needing anything until I saw this bag in TK-Max
It comes with a long strap so you can wear it across the body which was amazing. I was THIS close to getting it until I saw there was a tiny slight issue with the zip - literally no big deal but it was enough reason for me not to get the bag since I technically didnt really need one (but i still heart it) Was only €35.95
So we left TK-Max and continued shopping.. last shop of the day was Debenhams where they had the exact same bag for €74.95!!! As we wandered through the bag section we saw at least 4 or 5 of the Nica handbags that were in TK-Max for ridiculous prices. They are less than half price in TK-Max
My sis was saying that their ads are now saying that they have the current season items in stock and today proved it. Id deffo be looking in there now when it comes to bags etc and they had some lovely things and so cheap too!

Mini Cameo Pendant Necklace
I was wandering around town today while waiting for the bf to finish work so we could go and see the Hangover 2.. I never go into Accessorize as I find it over priced compared to the sterling value, but since I had time to waste I popped in anyway.. And I saw the prettiest necklace ever
Its a mini cameo pendant necklace, chain is gold and the cameo is black background with a white lady. Very pretty, very delicate, my type of necklace ... €7 or £4 which i thought was a bargain! I have something very similar to it which I got in Italy in a Cameo factory - a man who has worked there for over 40 years, making them by hand made the one i bought, so i think im gonna have to make my sis buy this one :)

Aldi Bargains
I love Aldi for their super 6. Such a great idea and a fantastic way to eat more fruit and veg for cheap.The one thing I never bought in there was meat... Dont know why. Until recently when I saw this recipe on Perfect... on the Good Food Channel for Beef in Oyster Sauce. It looked really tasty and easy so I said Id try to make it myself. I went to Aldi to get some of the bits I needed and saw their round steak. Two big pieces that looked like fillet steak and they were absolutely gorgeous too...
So since Im loving the meat in Aldi at the moment and since the long weekend is nearly upon us, here are a couple of meat bargains!
